About HLfT: The Hessian State Centre for Technology Training, known as the Dr. Frank Niethammer Institute (HLfT), offers specialized technology training programs for school administrators, vocational school staff, and management personnel. These programs are conducted on behalf of the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs. Additionally, the HLfT extends its offerings to employees of companies engaged in training collaborations with vocational schools, contributing to the enhancement of learning locations.The HLfT conducts a range of basic and advanced courses on an ongoing basis, aimed at fostering professionalization among participants. Furthermore, the institute plays a pivotal role in advancing development cooperation efforts initiated by the Federal Republic of Germany. It conducts specialized training programs for professionals and managers in diverse fields, including electrical engineering, information and communication technology, renewable energies, environmental technology, and education management. These programs are carried out on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as other development cooperation organizations.Presently, the HLfT is actively involved in a two-year capacity-building program titled “Digital Change Expert,” which receives funding from the State of Hesse and is executed in collaboration with the Vietnam-German University. This program underscores the institute’s commitment to addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era.
